Sorry I have been absent

I have had surgery to reverse my ileostomy and was involved in a car accident which saw my car being written off. I was insured but the amount that I was covered for was not enough to replace my four wheel drive. I had set up the four wheel drive to be able to travel everywhere and anywhere so that I could research small churches and chapels all around wa. I have replaced the four wheel drive with a ford territory, which is all wheel drive so it will comfortably tow my small caravan and take me anywhere I want to travel on the bitumen, and possibly handle well made gravel and dirt roads safely But my bucket listed Gibb River Road will have to be either put off and done on a guided tour or shelved. It looks like I will be ready to begin my journeys in mid February as I have all but completed the renovations to the caravan. I was able to spend some time researching the south west while I was in hospital and I have decided that I want to base myself in Busselton at Camp Grace on caves road to start with. Camp Grace is centrally located to shops and services and has all of the amenities that I will ever require. I have been praying that I will meet up with some fellow Christians who will share my days with God inspired conversations and activities. Occasionally I hope to drive out to small chapels on day trips which I can locate on Google and spend my timer researching the history, the current services, the congregation and the pastor, including a picture or two plus a little information about the local township, with shops, fuel, water, food, toilets and sightseeing facilities. Eventually I am going to travel impractical distances for a single day trip from Busselton; When that happens I will pack up and relocate my Base camp to another location but I will still remain within the south west. I am in no hurry and hope that I can continue to really see the amazing countryside, while meeting some interesting characters and share details of the ‘off the main road’ churches for as long as my health allows. I have committed myself to my local church as part of the choir- I think that most of the congregation must be tone deaf- I mean – I have heard myself trying to sing and it’s not a pleasant sound. I have also volunteered to help with the audio visual activities each Sunday for the service so I will not be leaving on my journey before the 19th of February. That’s the plan anyway!
