Either we are alone in the universe, or we are not.

each equally terrifying.

Some people may simply want to avoid this subject like the plague. But, for me,Knowing that I have a loving and living God who is real and  personal to me gives me such a sense of belonging, peace, joy and comfort that it makes me wonder why I don’t  spend more time talking to God. Talking to God should be like talking to a friend. Just because This friend knows all the answers to all the questions it makes all the more sense to want to have a closer relationship with Him.

Yes; I  believe that God exists- 100% and that Jesus is the son of God. I don’t identify myself as being a Christian. I have been disappointed  too many times by friends who called themselves christians so I choose not to use that term. Besides, I am the biggest sinner on the planet. Satan himself could take a few lessons from my past and I am proud to admit that I have turned a corner. No I am still not perfect- never will be, or can be but I now like to think that my behaviours, attitudes and words are pleasing to God. I like the verse in Ezekiel 36-26 which  asks God to take my stoney heart and replace it with a new, obedient heart.

I am not too far away from retirement age and have bought a shell of a caravan which I plan to fit out as a small mobile study  with a TV to utilise as a tool for  sharing  dvd Bible study courses. Each week I want to stop at  the local church and write a brief  story about  the immediate area –  catholic, anglican, Baptist, penticostal, 7th day adventists or other similar based group. How many people attend each week. any connected activities such as prayer groups and services available within the town such as fuel, food , water, repairs, accommodation, and ‘touristy’   features such as bush walks, fishing, mountain biking, diving, water skiing.I also  hope to try to share some positive and encouraging words a I write

I hope it is possible for readers to ask simple questions on the ‘contact us’ page of the site. Just remember that I am not a pastor or even a teacher. I am still only a sinner who wants and needs to change. Ideally I would like to write a paragraph or two each day plus respond to any questions and I would love any suggestions you may have
